So, I just got done disassembling my motor out of my 67 Chevelle. Turns out it had a 454 block with a 396 Crank and heads. Pistons are standard 4.25" and when I looked up the casting number that is on the inside it told me that they were from a 1968 Corvette 427. They are LH and RH. I bought new forged pistons for my motor and I'm just trying to see if these are worth anything to someone who might be restoring a vette. If there is any interest I will post an ad in the classifieds section here. Thanks guys.

A pic of that 67 Chevelle would be cool. I love that year as far as Chevelles go
That is one amazing 67, you're a lucky man. Had a 67 SS with an l-71 427 back in my younger days. To this day I still miss that car. Enjoy yours it's definitely a beauty!

Am I missing something?
I did get the idea that he found "corvette" stamped on something and automatically thought it was worth more than gold and people would beat down his door to buy them, nothing wrong with that.
Most threads like this get told to post them in "for sale" and stop fishing...
On a lighter note I would love a couple old pistons to use as foot pegs on my VW trike....
