Carpet for 1979
I ordered carpet for our 79 early production and the style of the carpet and the color both are off. The pile of the carpet I got it just smooth and the old has some texture. Any thought on where to get the right stuff. Ordered from major Covette parts supplier.

I've not noticed any issue and all my carpet comes from ACC. About six months ago did a comparison between factory original samples, ACC's samples (two of the pics are below).
ACC offers essex style carpet which is taller and thicker than the factory carpet was. Below is a picture where I compared original unmolested gm samples to the standard ACC carpet and the Essex Carpet. You can see the Essex is tall than all the samples but it also comes with a heft price too. If you'd like I can have a sample sent out to you.
