Option Sticker
If the sticker is missing, is there any other way to discover what options the car has.
Thanks

Beyond that, there isn't a terribly reliable way to figure options but by 79, there weren't that many. What option are you interested in?

I would just like to know what options are on this 79 I picked up today. I will also look for the build sheet tomorrow.

I think the OP is referring to the Service Parts Identification (SPID) label, that's currently on all new GM vehicles. GM first used the SPID label in 1984. When Corvettes were built, there was a build sheet attached to the top of the gas tank. This was the only option sheet on the car, when it left the factory, except for the window sticker. Build sheets have been found in other locations on Corvettes, but the one on the gas tank, was the only one ever permanently affixed to the car.
GM has some build records for Corvettes built after 1976. You can find out through the following website if GM has any build records for your Corvette.
