Default 1968 Coupe dome lights ??

Sometime in the past Bubba decided to cover my dome lights with perforated vinyl then proceeded to glue them in place because the plastic tabs on the lenses and the light assembly were broken. Well one lens fell off and there is just not a good way short of glue to install a new one. Also the light assemblies are broken, melted, etc.

These assemblies are 1968 only and no one makes them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has run into this. Has any one replaced theirs with something else. I've looked at the 69 style but the base is flat and the panel has a bit of curvature. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I did not forget about you! If your interior sail panel is messed up, you could replace that with a new pair and then try to fix or fabricate some way to hold the 68 only coupe lens. Someone may have the the plastic parts for the 68 lamp holder for sale. 69's- 72's used the rear bulkhead interior lamp that 68 convertibles used. I do not see how you could use one for your application on the sail panel. I hope that this helps you. Lou.
