Kind of weird, with the hood up and the cockpit burns into a crispy critter. I always liked that color blue on the C4's. Hope they have good insurance.
Note to me: Buy a good fire extinguisher TOMMORROW!

Halon (if you can find it) or Halotron
A standard ABC extinguisher is corrosive. May save your car from fire but will cause further damage to electronics, engine, and fiberglass from its use.
You will have a "pretty" mess to deal with rather then an "ugly" mess.

Many years ago when in a junkyard I came upon what looked like a giant burnt marshmallow. Only after close inspection of the frame did I realize it was a Corvette. Not pretty.
I keep an extinguisher in mine too. Heaven only knows I need it. I changed out my electric fuel pump back to a mechanical. After chasing fuel leaks in the engine bay I thought I was good to go. A day later after filling the tank and heading to a cruise in some folks said I smell gas. I said no I'd just fixed it (I couldn't smell it). The next morning the garage floor was wet under the muffler, WTH? Seems that when I removed the electric fuel pump I fatigued the metal fuel line enough to crack it at the first fasten point to the frame. Driving home that night from the cruise in I was heading down I95 at 70mph with a steady drip of fuel onto the right muffler. Real nice!! So pleased that I still have my Vette, (and life.)
