Gas Tank
Has anybody purchased this gas tank and were there any issues and how is the quality. The price is good at $229.00

Price seems decent. I ended up getting my sending unit and tank from Impala bob on eBay. I am reusing my original strap as they are in good shape.

I have purchased two new factory duplicate fuel tanks from Quanta...one for the 68 and one for the 70. They are excellent quality...and also steel with tin plating as from the factory. I'd guess this tank is a Quanta also.
As you can see, these things aren't too expensive...around $200. For a C3 put in a new fuel tank. My 70 tank appeared to be OK. When I removed it, just pushing it around to maneuver it out, broke the surface of the tank. The walls were paper thin due to corrosion. Removing the tank cracked the walls of the tank. It wasn't a leaker when I removed it, but it soon was to be..
