I got my Flowtech headers back from being ceramic coated and I think they look pretty neat. I had to modify the headers to suit my LtoR conversion (Australian) so I ordered them in painted finish and then had them ceramic coated in satin black after being modified. It is not until you start modifying the pipes that you realise there are so many obstacles to clear (spark plugs, engine dipstick, starter motor, steering box). Maybe not the best quality headers but they suited my budget. Now to mount them up to my 383!
I replaced my old chrome Hooker sidepipe headers this past spring. For whatever reason neither the Doug's or Hookers would fit correctly. So I bought the painted Doug's and had them modified to fit my car. Then when I was happy with them had them Jet Hot coated. I do like the coating. Yours look good.
I understand the steering box is out of a Ford Falcon, but not sure which model as it was already in there when I bought the car. I have been told the Toyota Cressida box's are more compact, but I didn't feel like spending more money changing it.
Cheers!
