Body repair?

Can the #4 body mount area be repaired with regular Fiberglas mat and resin? Started the frame off.
I take 1,2,3 body mounts staging will cause this? Is there a good way to prevent this from happening in the future?

I'm now thinking the underbody is SMC so a no go on the Fiberglas resin. Anyone?

I repaired and area like that on a 77 I had. Replaced the metal mount area and repaired the crack with regular fiberglass and resin. Never cracked again.

You can still use fiberglass and resin, but the resin must be EPOXY.

West Systems is a recommended brand. Can be found at West Marine if you have one locally. ("West" is just coincidental. It is not a house brand.)
