A buddy of mine is creative, he took a picture that I had sent him of my 72 and created a poster he is going to have made up. I thought it was pretty cool and very nice of him to do it. What do you think? I think I may have him change the "bought" to "built" after all, its my creation.
Since you asked..I would remove all the verbage, place the crossed flags higher, center the pic of your car, and keep Stingray at the bottom, where they all are centered.
The car, YOUR car is the focal point, and it brings up all sorts of visions/dreams/ideas to different people.
One thing I can tell you after being a Graphic Designer for the last 25 years - design is subjective. You can design an effective piece for someone and they still want to play designer even though they hired a designer because they are not. Sort of like telling the dentist - I wouldn't use that tool to fix my tooth. lol

Actually.....I had to tell the dentist how to fit the crown on my tooth...being a machinist, I explained to him that he needed to trim the Outside of the crown rather than the inside.

I agree with doorgunner. Make the wording up top smaller and the car proportionally larg err r to everything else as well as bought to built. That would be an awesome gift from your bud to you
Maybe photoshopping the background buildings out would make the car stand out better...
Either way, I like the poster, sure is much sharper than the one I made!
I took a digital photo of an old standard film picture of my '71 in its younger days and tried to clean up the shot with basic computer photo tools and then had it blown up to poster size.
Mounted it in the garage to motivate me to keep working and get the car (now in a thousand pieces) back to it's original condition!
One more suggestion to make it more generic. Some people build their Corvette. Some people buy their Corvette. Everyone drives their Corvette. Maybe consider "if you can park it and not turn back to look at it you're driving the wrong car".
My thought's for what their worth....I'd leave the Cross Flag's and Stingray off. I think they over power the picture of the Corvette. Distract's the eye. The Corvette speak's for it's self.
