I'm trying to figure out what all mounts I need to attach the top to my 70. A parts list, diagram or puctures would be great. I have the 3 clamps in the front. The rear middle bracket is there (no bolt or anything else) and it has 2 (3/8) attached to the top but no other hardware. Thanks in advance for help.
No problem. I showed you the "correct" mounting bolt/hardware but they come very close to the underlying hardware. So I went with soft top spikes. When adjusted properly they work well. I assume you have the side bolts as well.
My '72 Convertible was a Maryland car, and so I ran the HT all the winter long for some 3 years up there, the 3 front latches of course, and the two spikes in the back just like the rag top.....that was ALL I ever used, the side/rear center bolts were never used....worked fine
Sold the HT many years ago here in Florida, all one needs in Florida is a rag top.....

Thanks. BTW Weather isn't too bad here in Hilton Head most of the time but I like the looks of the hard top.
