Prev owner replaced the stock gauges in my 68 convert with white face gauges. I thought they looked kinda nice but not so sure now, plus they are really crappy quality and not accurate, so I have replacement gauges to install. Was surprised they came as mostly GM replacements. I'll soon have an ammeter that does not read -20 with the car turned off and will have a clock that actually works. Before pic attached, after will be after this weekend. RA

If they only worked right I would agree. The electronics have a lot of advantages: accurate, programmable, simpler to install, cleans up a lot of the "spaghetti" behind the dash, no possible oil leaks behind the dash.

I would send out the ones that don't work for repair and have the stock look.
There have been many replacements but my opinion is stock looks best on the 77 and prior.

Five new gauges installed. I'm marking this date on the calendar- C3 with a working clock!

Derek- you are not too late. I have not even started to fix the problems created by the PO in the center console- including the red shifter boot. Too many problems, not enough time.
