Steering Column 1979 C3
Is there anyone here that is knowledgeable? The rod from my ignition tumbler to the ignition switch is about 2 inches to long. That is with the key turned all the way aft and the switch (rod) all the way forward. which is totally not the correct way to install but that gives an idea how far off it is. I can reshape the rod but that would not fix what I did wrong or the previous feller did, anyone have any ideas? thoughts?
