You may need a different speedometer. Happy motoring!

Looks great. I wish I could play in the Darkside too but putting an LSX in mine got me into no man's land.

You had me worried! I thought you were going to get into something like this!

Now that would be scary!

Holy crap. A V10 viper in a Cobra. That is one I never have seen. But why not! That needs a big shoehorn. Cool.

About 2 years ago I ran into a guy at a convenience store with one. It was not a kit car.

Lets see 540 horsepower 2100 lbs. Dangerous? Could be. Exciting fun? Absolutely!
Enjoy with discretion of course.

Everything is lined up. Flight down is set, car transporter is set should be at my house before turkey day if all goes well. Pretty stoked about this. Only problem is weather here is getting cold. Have to go through all the registration and crap and then finish it off. Spring it should be ready to go.

Looks like fun Gordon; I love the Cobra kit cars (I like the real ones too but, the price). Have you finished the 'Vette yet?

Congrats! I have always lusted for a cobra. I've looked at the factory five kit many times. Variety is the spice of life.

Congrats on getting a Cobra! Love to see a thread on this if that would be allowed on a Corvette forum.

Probably not a good idea to start a build thread on a corvette forum but I can post pictures and give updates as long as I put it in with a picture of the Vette and update that also. I'm getting anxious now even though it will be a little less than 2 weeks until I see it.

I think there are quite a few of us who would enjoy a build thread.

It is now on its way back to NJ. I flew down on Friday to finalize the deal. Saw the car for the first time and then drove it. Obviously the body is rough but it runs very quick. Tons of power and the under side and running gear is top notch. The sun was out for the two hours while I was there looking over the car. On the way back to my moms house it started to rain and kept raining the entire weekend. So much for sunny Florida. It did stop for about an hour when the transporter came to load the car but it was just terrible weather. It is now loaded and on its way. Here is the car In his driveway

Here it is loaded on the transporter. There is a giant box strapped to the roll bars. That is the stainless side exhaust. Had to get it here somehow. There is a Mercedes AMG above it so I'm not worried about anything dripping or falling down on my car
