Default 1976 Wiring

Hope someone can help me out. I have looked at the wiring diagram in the assembly manual and repair manual and can't find it. I have a purple wire that runs under the sill plate on the drivers side, does anyone have any idea what this wire goes to? it is separate from the main wiring harness that runs under the sill plate. Thanks

Do you have a rear window defog? That is the only purple wire that I see going to the rear.

Should be the rear defroster. Should terminate at the switch on the drivers side of the transmission tunnel about knee length from the pedal box.
