Default Any of the Old Timers still around?

What's up fellows. Any of the old timers still around. Geez it's been a long time since I logged in. Went through a lot of stuff, divorce, 5 heart surgery's, kids, grandkids.....the Vette just got put on the back burner.

I still have her and go out to the garage and crank her up every now and then. I never did completely finish her before I started having my heart problems (Doc's have me fixed now) I still have to install the carpet, door panels, weatherstripping, and reinstall the interior trim pieces that I covered with tweed if you remember my custom interior thread. I did finish painting it. If you ever followed my "Follow along as I paint my corvette" thread. It's red now. Still runs like a scalded dog and has a half bottle of juice in the back that needs to be sprayed through.

I think it's time to bring her back out.

So who all is still on here from way back?

I guess I qualify. I was one of the original members of the Old Farts Club (OFC), long ago disbanded.

Default Still here and kicking

I'm here and love it. I understand the heart stuff. Had my issues is 2009. I've currently have multiple corvettes under restoration and hardly enough time to work on them.

I can't wait to retire so I can spend more time in the garage.

I'm here too. Have two vettes and not enough time for either of them. Found out that as you get older simple things become more and more difficult. Who's idea was it to start printing things so much smaller and why did the ground get moved farther away?

I joined back in 2004. I remember some of the names that I used to follow back then, that have since disappeared also.

I miss DJ Dep. Quite a character. EdT seems to be still around but rarely posts. Miss you Ed! And since Roger moved south, no posts. I miss his expertise.

Tomorrow (Nov 12) it will be 15 years and 1 month, since I joined. According to the stats in my Forum profile, I'm averaging 1.24 posts per day, so I guess I qualify as still active.

I'm still here from late 99. Still have the 72 but not done yet. Are they ever. Adding a Factory Five Cobra to the stable also. Been through many changes, cars and life since 99. Good times now though
