Help again... 69 seat belt button
I had to repair my oil pressure gauge and pulled my gauge cluster apart to clean it when I put it back together the seat belt light comes on but when I press the button it won't go off now it did work prior to me pulling it apart and looks simple what am I missing why does the button not turn the seat belt light off anymore it seems to be working properly but obviously not any help would be appreciated hang you...russell

My buddy had the same problem a few years ago, I think it ended up being a bad ground. The entire center gauge console needs to be grounded.
Just run a jumper from the console to a good ground to test it.
