WW Switch ?...
I finally got my windshield washer and wiper system going and it seems that it all works, except...
I have a 78 base SA and according to the owners manual the basic WW system which is two speed positions with a mist position..
My ? is..There is a white semi-circular arrow imprinted at the end of the stalk...Regardless of what position the wipers are in rotating the stalk/arrow does absolutely nothing....Fellow C3ers.....Am I missing something with the WW operating system????

It could be a few things going on.... on your car you can bypass the delay timer on the wipers and when you do it renders the **** useless. Or it could be an issue with the wiper switch. The delay controller harness had the same connector on it as the wiper switch. So if you unplug it and plug the non pulse connector on a pulse switch it will work.
Then there is also the chance that someone just replaced a standard wiper switch with one that is for a pulse... While wrong they will work as you describe. Since the standard switch discontinued way before the pulse switch many were used as a replacement.
The ****/stem works a potentiometer inside the switch and this controls the amount of delay. It's possible this has failed too. I have a page on my repair site that details how to fix the switch, but it doesn't cover the "Pot" inside. I did a video on how to fix this but I've not published it yet.. (not had the free time but soon).
