Default Newbie looking for help on '81 front end

Hi Everyone,
I'm a new C3 owner,(it took me 49 years to get there) and am looking for help on finding a piece of the nose that's missing on my 1981 vette. I've been looking everywhere, and can't even seem to find a nose that looks anything like this. Any help would GREATLY be appreciated!!!
Thanx

You have an aftermarket front bumper cover, possibly from Eckler's. Can you contact the person you bought the car from and determine where he/she obtained the aftermarket fiberglass?

Thanks Easy Mike, but the gentleman I bought it from only had it 8 months.Would it be difficult to install a factory nose on it?

Its an eklers piece. My car had the full kit, ground effects nose and rear wing. It wasnt to my taste so I sold it all for 200 and put it on a greyhound bound for new mexico.

EXACTLY, forvicjr, it is way too low.The roads here in Wisconsin aren't the greatest, especially in the spring, when the roads heave up from the frost. Would like to know what it would take to put a factory nose back on it- Would it just be something I could just bolt on?

Mine was bonded to the front clip. It didnt want to come off, It got ugly, I broke out the sawzall and got it off. I let the body man refit the new piece.

Mine is the Ecklers fiberglass front end.

I'm sure there is some filler on edges and other areas. You could make it factory again but there will be body work involved.
