I've always been a pretty traditional guy when it comes to my 69' and C3's in General, but the stock look seems to be wearing old on me. I know, I shouldn't even be asking but has anyone seen any red corvettes with white rally wheels? Thought it might be different and unique? Thoughts anyone? My car attached with current set up and picture of my car photo shopped with white rims.
Wouldn't suit my taste, but what makes this hobby so great is that we all have different taste.
If you like it, go for it.
Curious have you considered aftermarket wheels, and keeping your rally's so you could switch them out occasionally?
I've thought about the plasti dip. I might look into that option, which might work out well if I don't like the look. I really would love to find a set of 15 x 8 old trans-am series mini lite rim. Love the racing look of the mini lites They seem to be really hard to come by. Just really ready for something different. Would be nice to go to a car show and not have every corvette look exactly the same. I've tried black rally's and it looked awful. thanks for the suggestions

what about a gun metal gray with chrome center cap, no trim ring
If you are so tired of the stock look and feel so many cars look alike, why solve it by coloring the stock wheels? It sounds like you need to go shopping for custom wheels.... There's a million options out there, both old-school and modern.
I too am not a fan of the white wheels, but agree with others that it's your car, do what makes you happy. I"d personally perfer black rallys over white, but would favor the original silver over any other color.

I recently ran across a set of rally spinner caps. I ALWAYS see the standard rally caps, but I haven`t seen too many of these out there, and it`s just as easy as changing hub caps for a different look!

PO had some spinner caps on my '77.
I'm keeping them on the car.

The white is different and it is unique but is it more than that?

What color are your side pipes. Mine are painted the color of my car and would like the chrome or aluminum look. I may buy some new covers and have them painted to look aluminum
I'm not a fan of the white wheels either, but it's what you like that counts. Go for it if you like it. You can always change back. If it was me I would black out the 4th fender vent on each side first. Then change the wheel color.
