Not the best pics but color painted to match car !~! All done ready to drive ...... Take notice full 3" exhaust that allows the rear end room to move up and down and no lower then the OEM under the pumpkin set up.

Looks good man, the exhaust looks great also. Like the way you routed it between the pumkin and the bracing. Nice job.

Looks good, but I am kind of curious why you did it? My wife asks me why I make any changes on my 68, from the air cleaner to the seats. Not hating, and I think it looks great.
Does it handle more hp better? Less parasitic hp loss? Dragracing?
Don't mean to sould like a total newb, but just wondering why.

Main reason is the ability to withstand hp , and it can be adjusted in ways you cant get from oem set ups .

I was curious about the same thing I assume this is a drag race strength thing it can't help handling in the curves a trade off I guess,

But I then wonder about that car craft article about 20 years ago some 80 sleeper would run like sub 10's with bottle but was running the stock rear end....in fact the car looked too stock like the cast iron exhaust, perhaps the article was stretching things....anyone recall that car?

I am going in may , we will rent the track and a few of us will hammer out some times and adjust and tweek as needed ..

All I have left to do is a front end alignment , hooking up the 2 step launch control and some tuning
