driver's side duct installation

Default driver's side duct installation
1969 corvette L46 with AC

Can someone give me some words of wisdom on the installation of this duct? (driver's side duct)

Can it go in after the instrument panel is already in?

Or does it need to be installed with the panel?

It routes under the steering column.. right?

Thanks for your help on this.

i put mine in after everything else is in. all the other stuff goes above it.

You put it in last... and you start at the duct then work the two together on the inside edge.
