2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (appearance mods)
C3 of Year Winner (appearance mods) 2019
I have been working on mine in the garage here in iowa. We had a cold snap and it really cooled off the garage. It got up to 34 today so I had the garage door open. That is pretty sad.

We drove down to Florida for about 6 weeks here in Punta Gorda. Sure beats winter in the Northeast but I wouldn't want to be here in the summer. Too hot in Fla in the summer and it's awfully crowded in SW Fla right now.

Capevettes, I live about an hours drive north of Punta Gorda in Bradenton. Used to live in northern Ohio near Cleveland and got very tired of dealing with winter and all of it's issues. Moved to Florida 11 years ago and would never move back north now. Just bought a 78 Pace Car a short time ago and am enjoying driving it every day. I'm an old guy (70) and find that it is easier to acclimate yourself to hot weather than cold. LOL. By the way, did you get over to Muscle Car City when you were in Punta Gorda? Great museum and car show venue. Good luck with the winter cold, Golfboy.

Yes, We did get over to Treworgy's Muscle Car Museum Very impressive. We also attended a car show they had in the parking lot. A friend asked me how the car show was. It was pretty good but my response was that any time you can go to a car show in the winter, it's a good show. We also went to Don Garlitt's Racing Museum in Ocala on the way down here. Heading up to Mecum and the NCRS event next week. We are enjoying being down here

That quick 4 day break away in January at the NCRS meet always seems to make the winter feel that much shorter. I leave here in cold winter weather, then come home with the warm feeling, next thing you know, it's spring!

It really does break up the monotony of winter. We'll be driving home in early February. Planning to spend a couple of days at the Corvette Museum. Thank God my wife puts up with all the car stuff
Had some below zero here in south central Iowa. Glad I drained my parts cleaner, cuz liquid stuff froze up in the garage. Garage is insulated but not heated. Got a couple of portable electric heaters but can't run them all the time. Yeah, spring can come real soon as far as I'm concerned!
My work shop is heated and well insulated. Just been working on the chassis of my "new" 67-72 chev short box pick up frame till the vette comes back from the body shop. Should have it back in a couple weeks.
