For me modifying and customizing my Vette to my own interest is what the hobby is for me, so i thought i found a site with people who shared my interest on www.vettemod.com.
Read every topic from start to finish on that site but when i started my '80 restomod and started to ask questions i received a very contemptuous reply from the moderator for no reason, a well known fellow dutchman as well.
So never visited that site again, their loss i guess, i am building a very nice restomodded C3 with lots of interesting modifications, but not on their site.

I built Vintage Honda bikes for 9 years...I was extremely active on CB1100F.net and CBXworld.....but have not been on in quite a while.
I withdrew dramatically from the cyberworld and started to stare what was in front of me......
I think a lot of folk get sucked in and end up knee deep in some forums....I know I was in the Vintage Honda universe.
I was a lot of fun but I am an adult and know where to draw the line.
I approach this forum with kid gloves.....lots of good people here....but I will not reply to invoke a response or add fuel to something other than the topic at hand.
This place is a wealth of knowledge...and I try to contribute the knowledge I have accumulated over the years.
That said......Vette on and thank you to those who I have corresponded with here at Corvetteforum
I'm all over...sort of where a google search takes me on my latest project...The latest has been The hog ring forum- since I'm trying to do upholstery.
One thing I have noticed- is less postings and posters the past year or so...on ALL the Forums. Whenever I am looking up something-I notice on an old post that I am always running across another forum member that just dropped off....
Here
ZRXOA

Plus if I need to get some other info on my daily drivers, my dogs, home repairs, what to make for dinner, on and on, a lot of stuff on the net!
Me: Staring intently at phone to exclusion of all external input.
Wife: "What are you DOING?"
Me: "Surfing for ****."
Wife: Rolling eyes. "Yeah. CORVETTE ****"

Beside this, I spend time on the PY forum. I have a 65 Goat. Learned a ton from both forums.. I love the inerweb.
How do you get banned??
Here's my list:
Corvette forum
GM-trucks
Craigslist
Racingjunk
A pretty big shism happened a couple years ago, that lead to the creation of two new Corvette forum, most of the split happened there, and it was all about one single guy telling nonsense.
Alas this guy was backed by the admins, most of the banned just got in their way.

Digital tossed me off because I hate Nobama, run by a communist, I suppose..... so me and a bunch of C3 guys into modified cars went to VetteMod. com primarily to avoid Durango Boy who, btw, got me into Hydro Boost brakes to cure once and for ALL, that 4' of brake pedal travel to stop the car..... not been on Action Center in years....
by time DB was banned from here, the damage was done....it was his habit of incessant posting on every damn thread, to the point of madness, many posts making no sense at all, .....krazy.....
