My favorite C3 that I've seen was the Laguna Gray 70 LT1. Admittedly, I haven't seen the whole auction thus far. It's on my DVR and and I've gone through about 3/4's of it.
One take away from this auction? those that purchased new 1978 Pace and anniversary Corvettes and then stored them away in bubble wrap should have been at the Pontiac dealer buying Trans Ams!

Speaking of Trans Ams a guy I know has one of the 8 existing 69 convertible Trans Ams, he took it to Mecum in Florida last week and the bidding stalled at 1.4 million. It didn't reach the reserve but I bet if he took it to BJ he would have gotten it.
Is it just me or are those 2 auctions like night and day?
