Default I finally got one!

After 3 months of looking and 2 weeks of negotiating I finally brought home my first C3 today.

Its a 78 Silver Aniversery L82, Automatic, Red interior. 37.000 original miles, but already gone through a restoration 2,000 miles ago. This thing is as close as I could get to stepping back in time and buying one off the dealer's lot. (Yes it is missing the proper bottom color, it was just not added back on after the repaint, but it does have the proper paint code, but I like it that way.)

Here's some teaser pictures from the ad. I'll have some more quality ones tomorrow once I get it cleaned up from its journey home from Long Island.

Wow! That car is a sweet find.

I am working on a '78 for my father in-law. I'm helping him put a red interior in it. This is a great example for us to work toward.

Welcome to our happy home on the C3 forum.

Congratulations! That's a fine example there and the single color looks nice. Welcome to the C3 club!

I like it a lot! I see someone added the front and back spoiler. You know those were only on the Pace Cars in 78, right? That being said, I think they're a nice addition.
