I have no idea what it is for, when I bought it, what I bought it for, nothing....

So, I just keep it around ... Just in case !!! Lol....

The ends are aluminum, and says SP100, the chain is not heavy duty in any way..

What is it???

Ya to hold up the pipe you are installing until you put up the pipe hanger? The clamps attach to an I beam I'm assuming.

Did the B1 bomber have flight control cables? I can't imagine that plane having any cables to control flight systems. Interesting posts, there are some strange tools out there.

No... B1 is all fly by wire...
I'm a private pilot as well... Never saw one used...
