I have a 79 with the performance VBP bolt on suspension kit front and rear the rest is stock. I was wondering if anyone has any pics of 295/50 15 tires on 8" stock rims? I read the forums and read yes and no as far as fitting without moving cables/spacers et.... I have 265/50 15 on now. Anyone tried it and if so CAN I PLEASE SEE A PIC?

A 295 has over a 1" greater cross section width than a 265. I really doubt you have that much room , an additional 1/2", left between the tire sidewall and the parking brake cable.

That is almost a 12" (11.6) wide tire on an 8" wide rim.
