I am looking for a picture of the metal tab that, I believe is riveted to the inside lip of the top of the fender and, is what the corner molding screw threads into. I can't seem to be able to find it any of the parts catalogs so, I think I'll just make a couple of them. This for a '69 coupe BTW.
Hi Doug
In my 68 book there is a nut behind the metal tab.
Nut# 445106
If you don't have the metal tab you probably have to do it by yourself I don't see any # or
try to contact corvette Mack mack@corvettemack.com I think he can find you used one.

My thought is it's a small sheet metal tab held in place with what appears to be 2 small rivets???

Yes, that is what I thought it was. To give the sheet metal screw something to "bite" into. Thanks again Alan.
