1968 key blank codes
Yes for #1, just insert the key and turn right and left. The ignition and door should be both C blanks that match.
#2 Yes you can buy the round and octagon blanks on line and then your ace hardware can cut them....spend some extra time on the wire wheel so the cut has been worn, so to say.
#3 yes get 2 D cylinders for the glove box and tire lock.
The only blanks I have left are 4 round B blanks (for 1967)
Good luck!!
Steve
Thanks a ton for answering my questions.
And yes I'll have my Ace guy spend a little extra time grinding down the rough edges for the cut on the C Keys. I plan on ordering 3-4 keys in case we have to do it a few time to get it right.
Are you an IL NCRS guy? I joined last year...
Either way would love to connect sometime...PM me with contact info and I'll reply
