1981 speedometer cable installation
I have a quick question on changing my speedo cable. I have cruise so I bypassed it with the new longer non cruise cable. I thought I had the hard part done where I have it ran through the firewall and ran it down to the trans. The question I have is while it is jacked up and I'm on the ground it's very hard to get to the trans end with the crossmember in the way where the cable is so close the the frame. Is there a special tool or what do you use to get in there with the exhaust and crossmember in the way?
