I have a 70 vette. When I get on it pulling out I hear a sound like something is rubbing. She squats pretty far but I can't find any evidence of rubbing. It does not sound like wheel rub. I was wondering if the suspension is too soft and if so (since I'm on a serious budget right now), what might be an easy inexpensive solution.
Thank you

Until you find out what's rubbing, no one can give you a solution.
You need to get under the car and under the hood and look at everything that rotates... if something is rubbing, there will be telltale evidence of it.... it could be one or more of many things ... jack it up and start looking with a flashlight
The single big rear suspension bushing .....maybe called the snubber ?....it's a big donut sized bushing ......if it wears out you can get all, kinds of vibrations, rubbing sounds , stuff that sounds or feels, like issues in the diff........if your vibration noise is at the back of car . Stuck parking brake components ......lots possibilities.
Friend recently had noises at rear . Could not locate issues with car on the ground .
Ned to,put it on a lift , where you can see and move around push and pull and see what is going on.
We crawled around on ground ...waste of time .....could not figure chit out ......soon as we got it on a lift where you can actually see what is what took like five minutes to pin point the problem,
