Default Hey, Doorgunner....

While surfing Craigslist I found this and thought of you:
https://cedarrapids.craigslist.org/cto/5477012939.html

With your vert. And this coupe, by the time you were done you would be a BONE-A-FIDE expert!

Exactly! It's half the work!

I however, am truly amazed by what you are accomplishing on your project

Sadly I would suspect by the lack of information in the ad, that the car has some severe rot and/or crash damage.... hence the 76 nose. Also that the seller knows this and is hoping to find someone who is not as well informed.... OR really thinks he has something and is tired of people telling him it is junk.

I could be wrong on all accounts, but that's what I take from it.

LOL......he's obviously an Optimist! Everyone says it's a losing battle, but we rookies only see the possibilities

It's good to be an amateur like me/a knowledgeable person would never buy something like that FOR HALF THE PRICE.

Ha! I didn't say I was against it, I could be tempted if it was solid.... I would love to have a chromie, I even showed it to the wife. Realistically, though I don't have the time, money, or space for a project that evolved.....

I am that while I'mean trying to figure out where I could store the $800 '65 Barracuda basket case I found last night

Yeah! The ONLY THING keeping me from getting a trailer and dragging it home, is the fact I have nowhere to put it

Believe me.... the thought had crossed my mind! But, I can't justify the cost of an enclosed trailer either

That seller is the king of understatement and overstatement.

"Needs windshield and some bodywork"
"this car restored is worth 5 times more than most"
