Default Headlight upgrade

Had a day off, so I decided to finish my headlamp upgrade. Installed new housings with H1/H4 bulbs, along with a new harness with 12 gauge wiring and relays. Haven't had a chance to drive it at night, but if the garage wall is any indication, they are soooo much brighter than the previous sealed halogens. Can't wait to get it out after dark! Will post an update when I get to drive it. Total cash outlay was about $150. Worth every cent!

The relayed +12V will make them brighter, but the real benefit is the light being more focused on the road with quality (Bosch, Hella) lens.

Housings look nice.....what kind did you go with? I went with the hella housings.

I agree, hook up a relay and it'll reduce load at your headlight switch and like mentioned above put 12v to the lights.
