Default How do you store your T-Top?

I have seen 3 possibilities;
Strapping them on the luggage rack
Leaving them in the garage
Putting them in a bag and loading them in the cargo area.

For me the first two are out, I don’t have a luggage rack and I need them with me.

I’m hesitant to load them in a bag where they will rub and the paint might get scratched (I have seen posts to that affect). So, I though about building a rack for the cargo area for them. Has anyone done this?

If you have a notch back get a luggage rack and top mount hardware. I got it as an option on my new '77 and was the best way to take the top with you. Leaving the tops in the garage or wrestling them in back of the seats didn't make it for me.

I have a '78. I bag mine when I don't leave them at home.
My SIL made me a couple HD bags, very similar to the originals, but with padding inside. Much thicker, safer. I bag them and stack them "paint-side-up" or "glass-side-up" as the case may be. Ive never strapped them down, I just leave them sit there. If I ever hit something hard enough to cause them to fly around in the car Ive got more problems than scratched tops.
