Anyone paint a shifter knob

I was wondering if anyone has panted a shifter ****. What did you use . how well did it hold up. Thanks

I painted the Auto Shift **** and the steering wheel spokes with flat black spray paint,,, I had in garage. Worked great.

I soaked mine in laquer thinner overnight to remove any hand oils. Then cleaned and painted it with three coats of SEM trim black. Before cured I painted it three coats of gloss clearcoat (polyurethane). It came out amazing. Two years without any issues, though I suspiciously eye my wife's ring whenever she drives it.

had my paint guy paint my aluminum t handle same color as car ppg hugger orange and cleared with hoc micro flake

I painted a plastic one:

1. Light scuff
2. Clean
3. Spray with Bulldog
