Default Paint help!!

Hello everyone I am about to pull my hair out trying to figure out a color for my 77. I was looking at some cars on here that are LeMans blue, and its dark, I love that. When I look it up online, I get this light baby blue, I dont like that... I also saw some dark red brandy-wine looking cars, and I love that, but again, all I can find online looks purple, or its candy... Help? I will be painting the car myself and dont have the funds to have a paint mixed for me... Unless that isn't as expensive as I thought. Help a girl out? Thanks in advance for the help!

How about some early 80's two-tone colors, autumn red over dark claret looks nice and silver over dark blue.

Go car shopping at new car and used car lots if your not painting original color. Due to lighting, cameras, and screen settings you will never see the true color of a car via the Internet

You may be thinking about the 1996 C4 Grand Sport colors: Admiral Blue (aka Dark Cloisonne Metallic, code 28/WA128A) and Arctic White (code 10/WA9567).

Ok I think you are confused on some terms. I think you meant having a special color mixed for you and that would be more money, but all paint is mixed and custom so to speak. Most monitors are crap for color accuracy. So really hard to pic exact colors on the internet..unless a few colors that you are interested in are side by side in the picture.

Keep looking and asking..its the fun part!

I have a color corrected monitor, this picture is accurate but when I post in on the forum it changed, not horrible but not correct.

That's an awesome car, stance and beautiful color. Was that photo taken near High Bridge between Ormond by the Sea and Flagler in Florida?

Save your hair. Visit any automotive paint retailer and look at the color cards. Find the colors you like and make your decision.

Yes sir! I was hoping no gator's would crawl up while I was shooting

Paint chips are ok but very deceiving as they are so small. HOK (House of Kolor) has 6 inchish small cars with colors that are pretty good though
