I recently purchased a 1980 C3 with an aftermarket pioneer stereo in it. I would like to replace it with one of those vintage original looking radios but I'm worried about the two ***** for volume and seek on them. Would I need to buy a new cover for the radio?
I am in the same situation so I'm subscribing to your thread.

I'm leaning the same way on the radio. Will probably replace/upgrade all four speakers at the same time. I'm thinking of replacing the whole bezel for under $100.
