Throw Out Bearing Problems
74 Vette, 350, 400hp, crate engine, new block, new NAPA clutch, 4 speed rebuilt. After a few hundred miles throw out bearing began squawking. I could feel vibration in the clutch pedal. Throw out bearing was replaced. After a hundred miles or so it began squawking again. The clutch was pulled and showed signs of slight scorching. A new heavy duty clutch & throw out bearing along with a brass pilot bearing was installed. I could feel vibration in the clutch pedal but no noise. After 50 miles or so I’m getting squawking again. It started making noise twice while in reverse. The clutch fork was considered a possible source of the problem, but nothing obvious. Help, please

It sounds like they are in constant contact and never release
With the clutch pedal released there should be .050 to .150 gap ( hydraulic setup) but I believe a mechanical setup should be similar
