I have a friend that has 2 Corvettes, that he has decided to part with. I need to get an idea of the value of each. One is a 1971 convertible, all numbers matching 350 automatic. It has a/c, p/s, p/b, p/w, leather and both tops. It is Warbonnet Yellow with black interior. Total frame off restoration. The other is a 1972 convertible, Total numbers matching 350 automatic. It has a/c, p/b, p/s. Red with black interior. It is also a total frame off restoration. Thanks for your help!

They both sound really nice, but need several pictures of each car to even give a general price range.

What is your friend asking for his cars? Have you seen the cars?
I have seen them both. They are in excellent condition. He dont knw what to ask for them, so I was trying to help him out. He has had the cars for 25+ years. His health isnt too well, so he has decided to move them out.
you can download a smart phone app called Corvette DNA which provides prices
the highest value on the 71 is $50,600
the highest value on the 72 is $49,500
you can download a smart phone app called Corvette DNA
I think Corvette DNA is a great app and is useful for a lot more than just valuation, but I do find their stated values to be absolute top dollar, or to put it in different words, I wish I could sell my car for what they list as it would be gone tomorrow.
I like the corvette DNA app as well but there at least 2 things that have no value there that do have value on the hagerty valuation tool - tilt wheel and leather interior. No value for leather? Really? Maybe take an average of the 2.
Oh, and if those cars are not exactly, exactly like new I think you can start at condition 2 on hagerty's site.
