I finally got the 79 I've been working off the jack stand and got wheels on it. I decided to install the TQ II I removed off my 72 LT1, they are 15X8X4. They fit well, but with a slight turn of the wheel, they rub inside.

I like the look of the wheels on the dark blue 79. What size should I go with to prevent the rubbing? I will be using the 255/60/15R tires, identical to what I use on the 72.

a 15x8 with 4 inch backspace and 255x60R15 shouldn't rub. Exactly where or what is it rubbing on?
