The 75 L-82, with the wide ratio M20 4 speed, was only available with a 3.55 rear.
The L-82 with an M21 Close ratio 4 speed, came standard with the 3.55. The 3.70 was optional on L-82's with the M21, but not if it had air conditioning.
L-82's with automatics, came with the 3.36 standard and the 3.55 was optional.
