Sun visor question
I found a nice pair of sun visors from a '72 to buy. Will they fit my '75 vert without modifying? Thanks

They will fit the windshield header- but the 69-73 sunvisors are a little longer. As in 74 went to a 10" rearview and previously it was about 8½"

so they are longer. Does that mean they won't line up with the mounting holes? Thanks

They will line up w/ the mounting holes-BUT it's likely they will hit the rearview mirror when you pull them down.

They won't be right. You can't push them forward when they are down because they will hit the rear view mirror. Ask me how I know. If you have a nice black visor from your '75, I am looking for one.

Here you go- 69-76 use the same mounting ...but in 74 they shortened the visor to accommodate the bigger rearview mirror-

Your right on that! I ordered a set for my 72 and they're embroidered with cross flags.

Did you notice Richard454 measured the 76 visor with a nice clean measuring tape and the older 71 with a worn out rusted one
After looking at the pics a couple times, it appears they may be the same size. The measuring tape on the 71 looks like it's not flush on the end.
