Corvette Engine Numbers and Trans

Ok, I finally got all the numbers off the engine I could: What do I have. My research tells me that it is a 1975 350 165 HP.

Front Pass side - V0827CHB 2JL218244 (Alt # 2A218244)
Casting # GM 5.0LG

I think the Trans is a TH700R4:
MD8 on the side
8FAM067C 8642547-2

The engine block may or may not be from a 75 corvette, but the top end and front accessories are certainly not.

I believe the "CHB" stamping indicates a 1988 305cid 190hp engine used in a Pontiac Firebird. The casting of "GM 5.0LG" I think confirms a 5.0 liter (305cid) From the look of the valve covers, the heads appear to be vortec heads.
