Just did this not to long ago in my 81. On the passenger side, slide the seat all the way back to remove the two front bolts from inside the passenger compartment. Then slide the seat all the way forward to remove the rear.
On the driver side, if electric seat, remove the nuts from the bottom of the seat and as mentioned don't forget to unplug the wiring harness for electric motor and seat belt.
