Power windows keep blowing fuse
Can anyone tell me where the relay is for the power windows in a 71
Went to run car yesterday and the windows did not work. I replaced the fuse and it blows when I turn the key on. I am trying to isolate where the problem could be. I plan on unplugging the relay and turning on the key to see if it blows. If not I will plug the relay back in and unplug the red/white wire to the switches and see if it blows.
At least can some tell me if my logic is correct?
Yesterday I had the door panels off and jumped the motors, they worked fine.

I hate to say check your AIM but.... you might want to check your AIM.
On the 72, the relay is fastened to a brace that runs sideways near the front of the shifter console.... drivers side, on the shifter side of the brace where you can't see it from the side radio panel
