Default Seat back latch protector for deck lid?

Does anyone know where I could get a set of protectors for deck lid? The latch is about 1 1/2" by 3", when lifting deck lid or when leaning back in seat, the latch will touch the deck lid and scratch it. I have talked with someone who installed 2 rectangle rubber bumpers that cover up current scratches and prevent further damage to paint, but does not remember where he purchased them. Rectangle with rounded edges, possibly available on a 73, my car is a 70 convertible. Any help?
Thanks, Dave

I paid $16.50 each at Zip Corvettes. Wish I had installed them before scratching the driver side.

Thanks Ron
Shipping was a lot less through Zip and ended up being cheaper.

Yeah- I've ordered a lot of stuff where the shipping cost more than the part.

What brand of roll bar loops did you go with? Yours seem to look better and fit the Vette better than most I've seen.

They are stock mazda miata hoops. Cost about $80 for the set on ebay. Mounted a bar from frame rail to frame rail then bolted the hoops to the bar

Would you post a picture of how you did the bar? Thanks in advance for any help.

WOW! I really like that. Didn't know there was that much room between the seat back and the deck lid. Would like to try that my own self. Is it possible to get a photo from the top?
Thanks

Ok I tried to get photo but it's hard to see. Basically I took a piece of unistrut and ran it from frame rail to frame rail. Then mounted the roll bar hoops to it. The Mazda Miata roll bar hoops are connected to each other and have mounting tabs welded on.

Thanks for the picture. Like the OP I've been trying to find protectors. I saw your idea and I think I may steal it. Now knowing the price I'm going to figure out which roll bar to order and go that route and have it waiting when my 70 gets back from paint. Thanks again.

No I didn't cut the lid but I thought about it. I lost about 3" of leg room
