Brake and Gas Pedals
I've had my '73 with the TH400 for a short time and one of the first things I've noticed is that there is very little space between the wide brake pedal and the gas pedal, which causes my shoe to hit the edge of the brake pedal when switching from one pedal to the other. Is there another year brake pedal or an aftermarket brake pedal available that is narrower?

I did this exact conversion in about an hour. I think the narrower pedal pad was less than 10 bucks. But what a huge difference with size 12 boots!

Thank you all. In the post submitted by Paul 74, it does not give a part number for the brake pedal pad purchased through NAPA. Was there a specific year C1500 brake pedal pad or can you maybe supply the part number through Napa?

Thanks again,
Napa had it in stock and only $5.13. Probably one of the cheapest purchases for the corvette so far!
