Goal was new exhaust and front end rebuild around 2000 total which was set to be finished this week. Last night around 730 pm . 76 corvette vs deer . Would have to say deer almost won going to look for it now but it destroyed my drivers side headlight fixture and some damage to the body around it . see if I can post some pictures later. Lucky I was only doing around 35 but what a sound .

Good to hear it didn't get up your hood and into the windshield on drivers side! Guess it could have been a moose instead, considering where you are.
Afraid my car would crumble if a deer touched it. Seems like I only see one-- or 2, or 3-- when I least expect it. Always think I'm watching out for them until they surprise me again.
The guy at the shop said if the light was down it probably would have hit the windshield . I never saw this one coming until it hit and i was going slow looking for deer
About 15 years ago we hit 3 in one year . Wife was driving vett and did $5500 to it . Had one of Dodges first v10 pickups with a good grill guard and a winch . hit a doe at 65 mph with the winch did nothing to the truck other than split a piece of plastic trim on the guard . The other one ran into a new pickup i got later in the year but did less then $600 . So this is 4 in the 21 years we have lived here. Could of been worse we have a couple bull moose hanging around the area.
