Locomotion has a 72 LT-1, they say #'s matching real deal, no rust, 64k miles, engine rebuild and repaint in the 90s but no receipts, known owners from new and dealer says he has bought and sold this car in the past.

Would love for a knowlegeable local person to inspect for rust (no rust on a NY car?), documentation/receipts, body work and seams, how drives, engine stamp pad, does everything work, etc.
Would be even nicer to hear from a prior owner.
Should it have had smog, now missing? If so, what else not right/NCRS?
Asking price not cheap so only interested if honest and awesome, ready to drive and enjoy.

I can't help you much. All I can ensure, they did sell that vette some years (2-3) ago. I saw their add those days.

Selling used Corvettes has evidently been good for Lomotion. I stopped in there 15 years ago, when he (Tom?) was selling out of his house, had them in the front yard and did some work in his garage. Most were later C3s. May or may not be an indication of honesty. Hard to grow a used car business if one is not. Your call.
