Default First Corvette! '73

I've been lurking the board for a few years now and decided it was time to make an account as I finally got my dream car, a 73 corvette. It's been a good year, had my first child in March and now my first corvette! It was in the previous owners family since new and was always garage kept which is great up here in New England. The previous owner started converting the interior to black by replacing the carpet and at some point I'll start redying everything. The car was also originally factory AC but it was removed and he unfortunately got rid of it. I will add it back at some point but that's a really low priority. Last year he installed a new gas tank, fuel lines, and brake lines.

I already have a nice size to do list but that's why I bought this car. I wanted something to work on to make mine and be able to drive an enjoy. First thing to do, replace valve cover gaskets as there is a slight leak on the passengers side and a decent sized one on the driver's side.

Some pictures below, has a motionesque vibe to it right now.

What an amazing paint contrast! Is the black paint or graphics?

Great looking car! Always nice to see another 73.

The first thing I'd do is "deep six" that rubber fuel line and replace it with a steel one.

I agree. I love the contrast. Maybe add a little black in the upper door panel to really set it off like they do in some newer cars.

Welcome. Love to see more sweet 73's. Love that stinger paint scheme. I agree some additional black accents on the saddle interior would look cool rather that a complete black re-dye!
